Deformation Monitoring and Precise Levelling
Precise levelling is the measurement of vertical movement of a structure or asset using highly accurate digital level instruments. Results can be graphically represented over time to show the trends in movement.
Star Net can provide deformation monitoring services to ascertain any movement or deformation of a structure. Measurements are taken by high accuracy total station instrument or laser scanner on repeated visits. The results are compared using specialised software.
Deliverables are generally spreadsheets showing individual point movements, isopachytes showing surface deformation (contour map) and various other graphical outputs.
